My theory (and it's just a theory) is that I leave the tough part on so if the ends dry out, it's the tough part drying and not the edible part.Dave @ HappyAcreshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03441364543023807886noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4544358755192295336.post-70537977692523410852016-05-06T05:12:46.984-07:002016-05-06T05:12:46.984-07:00I thoroughly agree about not eating any veggies ou...I thoroughly agree about not eating any veggies out of season. My main goals in veggie gardening is to produce enough so that I can store/freeze for winter usage and not have to buy something from other countries.Susiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10354350096358468967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4544358755192295336.post-14397411696005116352016-05-05T21:41:58.398-07:002016-05-05T21:41:58.398-07:00Interesting question. When I see the first local asparagus at the farmer's market I know that spring has truly arrived. I can't eat asparagus out of season, it has to be local and fresh, but that's my feeling about any veggies.Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07812702328134261533noreply@blogger.com
