Harvest Monday: June 6, 2016
It's all about greens this week. I am very grateful for the rains we had Sunday and I expect plants to explode a bit over the next few days. But for now, I've just got some greens to harvest. This batch includes (clockwise) black kale, white Russian kale, spinach, mustard, radish.
Check out Our Happy Acres to see what other gardeners have going on this week.

Return of the Wild Turkeys
There were actually 9 babies, but one was hidden in the grass. I'm not really knowledgeable about wild turkeys but assume this is the mom.
So the mom decided to lie down right on top of one of the very few African Marigolds I managed to transplant this year (I started with 20 seedlings, dumped the whole lot accidentally, saved and transplanted 4 and now I have three left). But it's okay, because, well, wildlife and stuff, right?!
